Reporting into the Compliance Operations Manager, you will understand the value the compliance operations functions have in delivering key business objectives and have the foresight to spot opportunities to innovate and develop new ways of operating.

• Conduct routine compliance operational checks using internal and external tools and procedures
• Conduct due diligence activities for all new corporate and consumer accounts
• Perform periodic and trigger-based review of client accounts
• Review all sanctions and PEP referrals in line with the policy to confirm/clear suggested matches and escalating possible true matches to the Senior Compliance Operations Executive
• Analyse online accounts to prevent and detect fraudulent activity
• Review sanction payment alerts
• Report any suspected unusual client activity to the Nominated Officer
• Assist the Senior Compliance Executives to perform quality control reviews of processes completed by the team, ensuring the work is carried out in accordance with the existing guidance, within SLA’s and to the appropriate standard when requested by the Compliance Operations Manager
• Maintain up to date knowledge and expertise on Xe’s core business activities and assist in the analysis of proposed business initiatives from a compliance operations perspective
• Strive towards continuous improvement of the compliance operations function

• A graduate with at least 1 year's experience gained working within a similar role within the FX/Payments industry or within a similar regulated organisation.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
• Strong organisational skills to enable identification of required tasks and deadlines and planning and prioritisation of these tasks in an appropriate manner
• The confidence to challenge the status quo and provide fresh ideas
• Client-focused approach with a passion for delivering excellence

• £20,000-25,000 per annum, depending on experience
• 5% on-target annual bonus
• 23 days holiday (increasing with service 1 day per annum, capped at 28 days)
